As the Mayor of Princeton, it is my honor to welcome you to our community. Having been raised here, it is my hope that you too will visit and see for yourself the home-town atmosphere and rich history of Princeton. Princeton is pro-business, spurring an incredible amount of development recently including a Walmart, multiple restaurants, and several unique shops. Yet, we retain a small town feel evident by our community-wide events such as the 4th of July fireworks display that brings thousands to our community park, the holiday tree lighting ceremony, the annual Onion Festival and the April city-wide beautification project. These are just a small sample of events within our city. With a population estimated at 11,000+ and growing, I believe you will come to see and agree with me that the City of Princeton possesses a dynamic business environment while maintaining its unique small town character.
Our city is also blessed with a rich community spirit, with a strong civic consciousness exhibited by community groups such as the Chamber of Commerce, the Lion’s Club and many more. We have a strong faith based community and an outstanding school system. We are proud of our City and what it offers. As a lifelong resident of Princeton, my affection for our city remains constant. As your Mayor, I am committed to doing what it takes to foster a favorable economic climate and ensure prompt and courteous service by our city employees. To our citizens, I encourage you to get involved with your city to make a difference. To our visitors, I hope you will take the time to discover what we have to offer and explore Princeton.
