Planning & Zoning

Overview

The Planning and Zoning Division regulates development within the City of Princeton. The staff reviews plans for new development to ensure those plans comply with the city's Zoning, Subdivision, and Design Standard and Construction Details Ordinances. These guidelines regulate land use, the location of buildings, and the kind of amenities (such as parking and landscaping) which must be included on the site plan. Our staff also reviews requests to Annex, Zone, or Rezone a property.
