Celebrate America's Freedom with the City of Princeton at The July Spectacular!
An annual event for the whole family. Live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, a Kid's Zone, and a spectacular fireworks show. Musical talent will include opening acts Big Joe Walker, the Shelby Ballenger Band, and headlining performer Casey Donahew! Parking is $10 per vehicle and the Kid's Zone is $5 per child (kids 2 and under are free). Join us on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at J.M. Caldwell Sr. Community Park to celebrate!
Clear Bag Policy
The City of Princeton is implementing a clear bag policy to enhance public safety and expedite the entry process for this year's event by limiting the size and style of bags allowed. Read the full policy here.
General parking at the event is $10 per vehicle. There is NO PARKING on Beauchamp Boulevard. Any vehicles parked here will be towed at the owner's expense.
Attendees also have the option to park for free at Lacy Elementary, Southard Middle School or Jackie Hendricks Stadium and take a free shuttle to the event.
Street Entrance Closures
College Street and Beauchamp Boulevard will be open ONLY for event vendors and vehicles with handicap license plates/handicap parking. Entrances on Gold Way and N Beauchamp, Emerald Drive and N Beauchamp, and College Street and Longneck Road (main park entrance) will be closed. Please use the park entrance on Beauchamp Boulevard.
Attendees will enter the event through one of three secure entrances. Officers from the Princeton Police Department will be stationed at each entrance and throughout the park to promote a safe event experience.
Free water will be distributed at each of the three entrances, the Kid's Zone, the Cooling Tent, the First Aid Tent, and the City of Princeton booth.
A wireless sound system will be utilized for event announcements and emergency alerts. Residents can also receive emergency notifications from the City via CivicReady by texting their zip code to 38276 or signing up online.
