The City of Princeton is implementing a clear bag policy to enhance public safety and expedite the entry process for this year’s event by limiting the size and style of bags allowed.
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, the following:
- All purses
- Bags or containers larger than a small clutch bag
- Coolers
- Briefcases
- Backpacks
- Fanny Packs
- Cinch Bags
- Computer Bags
- Camera Bags
Approved Bags
- Clear Tote - (plastic, vinyl, or PVC), no larger than 12” x 6” x 12.”
- Plastic Storage Bag - Clear (1) gallon, resealable.
- Small Clutch Purse – Approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap. No larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ with or without a handle or strap. Can be carried separately or within an approved plastic bag.
- Diaper Bags - no larger than 12” x 6” x 12.”
A baby carrier, detachable infant car seat, or stroller is permitted in the event.
Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs.
If you arrive at the event and carry bags that do not meet the criteria, you will be asked to return the bag to your vehicle.
The City of Princeton reserves the right to remove anyone from the event who violates any laws, event rules or regulations, or directives from event staff.
WITHOUT EXCEPTION ALL BAGS ARE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION
