Winter Weather Advisory

A wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet will spread across the region on Wednesday, with another round of wintry weather expected on Thursday. Ice accumulation of 1/10 to 2/10 of an inch will be possible. This will result in hazardous driving conditions.

Winter Weather Update
Though precipitation will move out tonight, icy spots on roadways can still be expected as lingering moisture re-freezes overnight. Use extra caution if you have to drive, and remember to protect people, pets, pipes and plants from the cold.

One last round of wintry weather will be possible late Friday night into Saturday morning. A wintry mix of freezing rain and possibly light snow will impact areas mainly north and west of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Little to no accumulation is expected, but motorists should continue to exercise caution. Temperatures will rise above freezing regionwide by late morning, and rain will prevail Saturday afternoon and evening.

Due to Winter Storm Warning City of Princeton Municipal Center and Lois Nelson Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 and Thursday, February 24, 2022.
