Texas Arbor Day Ceremony

The City of Princeton celebrated Texas Arbor Day today with a ceremony on Monte Carlo Blvd. The Mayor John-Mark Caldwell spoke about the new Green Initiative, a tree-planting project on Monte Carlo Blvd, and the Texas Arbor Day Proclamation for the City of Princeton. The ceremony ended with a tree planting.

Section of Hazelwood St will be Closed Starting November 4th

Hazelwood St will be closed to thru traffic between 4th St and Boorman St starting November 4th.

Water and Waste Water Rate Comparison over previous Rates Effective 9/15/2019

The City worked with rate consultants for several months in 2019 in order to address citizen
concerns regarding residential water bills. On August 12th, 2019 the City Council adopted a
new Water and Waste Water Rate schedule that should offer some relief for its residential
customers.
Attached is a general comparison of Water and Waste Water charges before and after the
adoption in August.

The City of Princeton will conduct two Public Stakeholder Meetings on Thursday, September 12th, 2019 commencing at 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to present the proposed Princeton Downtown Area Overlay Framework and the Downtown Princeton Regulating Plan.   

The public meeting will be held in Downtown Princeton at 322 N. Main Street.

All interested citizens are invited to attend this public stakeholders meeting.
