Criminal Investigations

The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations to crimes. This includes computer and cell phone forensics, search and arrest warrants, and evidence collection that leads to successful prosecution of criminal offenders and the recovery of stolen property. Criminal Investigations is divided into three units, CAPERS, Property, and Special Crimes, that all work together collectively to investigate criminal activity within the city of Princeton.
