To supply safe, uninterrupted water and waste water services to Princeton residents and businesses. Recording the consumption of those services in an accurate and timely manner. The City of Princeton purchases water and delivers the waste water to North Texas municipal Water District (NTMWD).
HB 872 Customer Information:
Pursuant to Section 182.052 of the Texas Utilities Code, except as provided by Section 182.054, the City of Princeton may not disclose personal information in a customer’s account record, or any information relating to the volume or units of utility usage or the amounts billed to or collected from the individual for utility usage unless the customer requests that the City of Princeton disclose the information. A customer may rescind a request for disclosure by providing the Utility Billing Department a written request to treat such personal information as confidential from and after the date the City of Princeton receives such written request.
