As the Director of Public Works, Tommy Mapp oversees all aspects of the Public Works Department, which includes the Water, Wastewater, Streets, Facilities, and Stormwater services provided by the City. He also oversees the various education and outreach programs within the multiple divisions of Public Works. Mr. Mapp is responsible for a fiscal operating budget of approximately $6.4 million dollars.
Tommy has served North Texas communities for over 15 years, performing various functions within the Public Works Field. He began his career with the City of Princeton in November 2011 as a water and sewer system operator and was promoted to the Director of Public Works in September 2013. He continues to serve on many local and regional boards and commissions. Tommy is a member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Association of Texas.
