The Assistant City Manager assists the City Manager in running the day-to-day business of the city departments as well as carry out policy directions set by the City Council. The Assistant City Manager manages personnel policies, including the recruitment and management of staff.
Assistant City Manager Duties & Responsibilities include:
Overseeing all administrative activities of the City of Princeton departments
Administration of the delivery of all services to the community
Enforcing municipal laws and ordinances
Hiring, recruitment, appointment and supervising of municipal employees
